Nuclear Neighbors BETA is a public BETA from Building Adventure on 20-player online servers. The fridge is shared furniture. If three people camp it, the hall jams and Hatman gets a free take. Expect bugs. We will not invent a pity timer the developer never printed.

What the two badges actually say

Midnight Snack

• Object: the mysterious fridge.
• Goal: 5 beans in a row.
• 187 awards: completable, uncommon, streak-shaped.

Rotten beans

• Object: a mutated beans can.
• Goal: slay it.
• 853 awards: more common than the streak, so the fight fires more often than five clean snacks.

Together they tell you the fridge can feed you and then ask you to kill what it just handed you. That is the whole official design doc. There is no published loot table, no “third bean is always mutated” rule, and no fridge map pin on the experience page.

The neighborhood map still only names houses, bunker, and wasteland. Look for a fridge in the bunker first. If the BETA moved it, believe the prompt, not a week-old clip.

How to use the fridge without wrecking days

Treat it as a gamble, not a grocery. Five in a row is luck plus repetition. 187 awards versus 4,636 Getting cozy awards means most day-10 players never finished the streak. Do not stall a True survivor (48) or Help me (24) run on a snack dare.

Slay if you can afford it. Rotten beans at 853 is closer to police rats (1,888) than to Cryptid Killer (0). If a mutated can appears on a cheap Normal night, fight it. If it appears during Time thief, walk away. The clock badge does not care about beans.

Call “fridge” or “beans.” In a 20-player bunker that is enough. Do not write a tasting note in chat while the toilet creature is still the most awarded jumpscare on the board (~40,363).

Do not bribe NPCs with cans. Vampire friend is a companion badge. Child of Radiation is a become-state. Neither description mentions beans. Mixing pantry luck into those hunts is fanfic.

No code fills the fridge. The codes hub is empty of official strings. Spin the wheel! (~2,556) is a different reward loop. Anyone selling a “infinite beans code” is inventing text. Injectors are a scripts warning, not a pantry tool.

Shared-bunker rules

Do not body-block the fridge. Do not dump crates on the door. If someone else is one bean from Midnight Snack, let them pull. A streak is personal; a mutated can is a room event. If the can aggroes the hall, the same rules as rats apply: call it, break contact if the day matters, reset the plan.

Skeleto still must not multiply during a snack joke. GET AWAY is five days without that happening (165 awards). A fridge screenshot is not worth a skeleton raid.

The cryo pod is a different machine. Do not upgrade cryo with “bean power.” Cryo Chad is 25 awards for max pod upgrade. It is not a fridge perk.

What we will not fake

We do not have a confirmed chance per pull. We do not have a confirmed “reset if you leave the menu.” We do not have a published HP for the mutated can. Testers disagree about whether the streak breaks when another player opens the fridge. When testers disagree and the BETA is silent, this wiki says unknown.

If a patch changes the station, Midnight Snack and Rotten beans award rates will move. Track dates on the BETA changelog and tick both rows on the badge checklist.

The mysterious fridge is a two-badge object: a rare five-in-a-row snack and a more common mutated can you have to slay. Use it on cheap Normal nights. Keep the 20-player hall clear.
